Fairport Bridge

As we left town, we also left pavement behind but picked it up again not too far outside of Fairport. In Fairport we stopped in a park along side the canal to rest. As we sat on the big chair swing I had to take pain killers for my shoulder. It felt like a hot knife sticking into me. Leaving town we see two more deer.

I don’t remember this stretch of road, but Kathy says she does. It looks more like on-road. A stranger walking by says Kathy is right—it s part of the path. OK. (Damn! She’s right again!)

Here we are on that wide-open stretch paralleling Route 31. Palmyra here we come! Mileage is 46.95 as we turn off the path into the Village of Palmyra and head for Canaltown B&B. Mileage is 47.80 at the B&B.
