THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS
We were in a situation where we were very vulnerable to the adversities of life. What if we had a mechanical problem with the bikes? What if one of us got hurt or sick? What if we couldn’t find food? What if we got lost? All those things happened and thanks to the kindness of strangers we were able to get through it all. We owe these people a huge debt of gratitude:
The lady at HoJo’s in Niagara Falls who directed us away from a bad neighborhood,
the folks at the Akropolis Restaurant in Palmyra,
the young man who redirected us in Utica,
the Angels at The Village Restaurant in Canajoharie and
our Angel, Jack, who drove us to Latham.

We were supposed to stay at AMERICA’S BEST VALUE INN in Amsterdam. I was able to cancel our reservation.
