13.85 – the town of Camillus. We got here sooner than expected. We’re hungry but there is no place to eat so we keep going. On a narrow part of the path we meet a huge truck hauling a huger piece of construction equipment (bulldozer). He was unable to make the turn into a side road and we continued our ride as he tried to figure out his dilemma.
This is also a shared road and the surface is hard packed dirt strewn with trap rock. Very bad riding. Not making good time here at all. The pot holes on this road seem to be filled with cement, which is better than muddy holes.
