At 27.49 miles a sign says Savannah is 5 miles. Really. Savannah is achieved at mile 29.8. That is not 5 miles! Maybe they meant from center to center. Who knows? Most of our mileage today has been rural/agricultural and on-road. We saw such beautiful scenery. In a car you would whiz right by and not even notice.
