We stopped in Port Byron and Kathy went into the grocery store to buy a bottle of water when she spotted the sign showing where the beer cooler was. What she couldn't see (at first) is there is a room to the right where the beer cooler is really kept! This is her favorite photo.

Entering Port Byron, 42.23 miles. Just outside Port Byron we are scheduled to be back on canal pathway for a couple miles, then it’s back on Bike Route 5 in Centerport. However, because of surface problems in Port Byron (they put the stone dust down too thick!) we elected to stay on Rte 31 in order to make better time.
