29.69 – a nice lady took our picture in front of a pet store in DeWitt to celebrate our 200th mile.

Mile 30.16 – We are in our room at the Econo Lodge. It’s 5:31 p.m. and so much for the shortest day of riding! It was a difficult day trying to keep to the mapped trail and bucking head winds.

We decided to go to supper at Friendlys, which was on the other side of Erie Blvd – a six lane highway. We managed to run across without getting hit. From there, Kathy spots Ruby Tuesday’s on the other side of the street. Now you realize, that means the side we just bolted from. So it’s run across 6 lanes of traffic – again. After so much pedaling, running is not easy.

The “new improved” Ruby Tuesday’s was a disappointment to Kathy. I wouldn’t know the old from the new. I don’t get out much.

Estimated mileage: 29.00
Actual mileage: 30.16 (that’s pretty close)
Time pedaling: 3 hrs 52 min 08 sec
Average speed: 7.79 mph
Fastest speed: 17.41 mph
